The APT plays Forest Oaks today and tomorrow, 20th and 21st April. Today is fair weather, tomorrow is rain all day. Spring weather, its what you get.

This course used to be a special thing, it was a PGA Tour venue for the Wyndham Championship twenty years ago . Now the course is semi-private, maintained just ok, still offering up challenges on certain holes.

Everybody hates the 12th hole.

Water right, hazard left, and to get a far down as possible requires a precise draw. The second shot is uphill to a large green with a false front, forced carry over water or creek. If the pin is back the shot is blind. I’ve birdied it twise in fffteen rounds, par feels like birdie too. Should be fun.
